Hi there everyone! Gram i'm so glad to hear from you.. Yeah, there is some homework, but the real deutsch homework is making our way around here, EVERÝTHING is in german, so simple tasks are sometimes not so simple... Ha Ha!!! Thats ok, we are having a great time.
I can't believe we are alread halfway through our trip! It feels like we just got here yesterdaY.
Ryan is feeling a lot better today, so we've been out and about. We just had the most sinful ice cream desert creation masterpiecce EVER! There are icecream cafe's on every corner of Weimar, it's perfect. We were talking about how if it were ever worldly/financially possible we would bring some back for everyone.

We got off at the main train station in frankfurt and not the trainstaion at the AIRPORT!! A nother victim of the language barrier!!i
This is a pic at the wrong station before we realized our blunder.
We accuratly named this blog the Misadventures Throughout Germany!!! As soon as we realized what happened our train was leaving... we RAN to get back on the same train we got off!! Sis took a nasty spill on the concourse it was a very serious and dramatic spill!!! (she is ok) but her bag lost a wheel and her knee is a little banged up!!! The worst part is i couldnt help her up because i had to stop the train for us... it was quite the scene. as soon as we set foot on th train it roared out of the station!!! then we had a graet laugh about it all.

we met Francesco at school. He was super cool. He cooked REAL Italien food for us a couple of nights. He made us some REAL Italian Pizza...It had potatoes as a topping!!!! it was really good. I even learned a few tips on making some pizza.

Hi Annie & Ryan..got your message so I know you got my note. Got the pics too but only three? This has got to be the experience of a lifetime Annie and all for a little girl who said she was never going to leave home ever, ever again (when you got home from Saudi)remember? hi--we're home from
D.C. and had such a good time. it was the most elegant wedding i've ever been to. was on Top of the Town--a 12th floor ballromm with allwindows locking over the capital, but the cool thing was there was a rooftop garden area with a bar, tables to stand at for hor'dourves and drinks and from just standing there, you could easily see lincoln monument, washingons something or other, kennedy center, watergate, toom of the unknown soldiers monument, arlington cenetary, the pentagon, and you could see the area that the plain went into it and how the bricks they used in rebuilding it are a different color. couldn'see the white house, because it is really short and was hidden in the trees. washingtonisns seem the have their own theories as what happened to one of the planes that crashed. anyway, we'll have to tell you about our MISADVERTURES TRAVELING THRU D.C.' even they PALE in comparison.HANS travelers lets keep part of adventure for a surprise when they get home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!love you both mom; ryan sorry i missed your call..seee you soon
