We got off at the main train station in frankfurt and not the trainstaion at the AIRPORT!! A nother victim of the language barrier!!i
This is a pic at the wrong station before we realized our blunder.
We accuratly named this blog the Misadventures Throughout Germany!!! As soon as we realized what happened our train was leaving... we RAN to get back on the same train we got off!! Sis took a nasty spill on the concourse it was a very serious and dramatic spill!!! (she is ok) but her bag lost a wheel and her knee is a little banged up!!! The worst part is i couldnt help her up because i had to stop the train for us... it was quite the scene. as soon as we set foot on th train it roared out of the station!!! then we had a graet laugh about it all.

Our teacher loved this game for some reason. It was actually really fun, with the language barrier not one time out of numerous days did we sucessfully transmitt the message!! It was a great time...

we met Francesco at school. He was super cool. He cooked REAL Italien food for us a couple of nights. He made us some REAL Italian Pizza...It had potatoes as a topping!!!! it was really good. I even learned a few tips on making some pizza.

SS baracks. Only the middle entrance and section of the building is the original. The other sides were added in the 50's believe it or not. But that's a whole other story.

hello---i'm sure glad you are better ryan; hope annie doesn't pick it up--what a bummer. i would imagine when you miss a class you have a lot of catch-up to do....haven't heard back from the first lady who came thru the house twice, but i also know that she hasen't made a decision yet. we have another showing again tonite, so from my mouth to God's ear someone will buy it. am getting excited for this weekend and we will miss you 2. hey, go for your medals--what a piece of history that you couldn't find here, or it would'nt be the same as coming from that authentic shop. hope your shopping trip was successfull. luv u mom
